Kākā Math is in beta. Neither app is in the App Store or Google Play yet, so you can’t find it by searching the store.
Joining the beta
- On kakamath.nz, choose Join the beta.
- Tell us your name and email address, your children’s year levels and which devices you would use.
- When there is a place for your family, we email you an invite with the link to install the app.
Invites go out by hand, a few families at a time, so it can take a little while. If you have been waiting more than a couple of weeks, get in touch.
Installing from the invite
- iPhone and iPad: the invite takes you through Apple’s TestFlight app, which installs Kākā Math and keeps it up to date. Install TestFlight from the App Store first if you don’t have it.
- Android: the invite opens Google Play’s testing page. Accept the invite, then install Kākā Math from Google Play as usual.
Once it is installed, create your parent account.
What the beta costs
Nothing. Kākā Math is free while the beta runs and every feature is switched on. See Pricing and the beta for what happens afterwards.
