During the beta
Kākā Math is free while the beta runs. Every feature is switched on for every family, and there is nothing to pay. In the app, Profile, then Settings, then Manage Subscription says “Free while we’re in beta”.
There is nothing to buy on iPhone, iPad or Android until the beta ends. The screen says “Plans aren’t available right now” and lists what the plan will include.
We will let every family know well before the beta ends and anything is charged.
After the beta
One plan, with everything in it:
| Price | |
|---|---|
| Monthly | NZ$10 a month |
| Annual | NZ$100 a year, two months free compared with monthly |
The plan covers the whole family: up to five children, each at their own year level. If you learn alongside a child on a weekly plan, your own learning profile doesn’t count towards the five. There are no feature tiers, and nothing a child can buy.
See kakamath.nz/pricing for the current details.
Where you would pay
Wherever suits you. A subscription taken on an iPhone goes through Apple, on Android through Google Play, and on the website by card. Whichever you use, it covers the family on every device. See Manage your subscription.
