Joining the beta, setting up your family and the first session.

Getting Kākā Math
Kākā Math is in beta and not in the app stores yet. Join the beta on this site and we email you an invite.

What you need
An iPhone or iPad on iOS 15 or later, or an Android phone or tablet on Android 8 or later, and an internet connection.

Create your parent account
The adult creates the family account first, then adds each child to it.

Add a child
Add each child with their name and year level. Up to five children on one family account.

Getting your child signed in
On a shared device, tap Switch to Child. On their own device, send them a login link.

The Maths Check-In
A short adaptive quiz that shows where your child is strong and suggests which topic to start with.

Finding your way around the app
The tabs along the bottom of your screens and your child's, and what is under Explore.
